Enhancing products with Branding with Banding: banded products attract attention at the point of sale. The bands, up to 100 mm wide, can be printed on both sides in up to 12 colors and offer ample space for information—from storytelling to barcodes.
Variable data such as production and expiry dates, 1D or 2D codes, or ingredients are printed in real time directly onto the band during the banding process.
The band tension, continuously and flexibly adjustable, keeps the band perfectly in place—even without adhesives or additional labels.
Compared to cardboard sleeves, banding offers further advantages:

Bundling logistics units with minimal packaging
Paper bands replace plastic bags, tubular films, and shrink films when grouping products. Depending on requirements, thin and recyclable film bands can also be used.
Bands reduce packaging throughout the entire logistics chain—from the producer, through the distribution center, to the point of sale.
Another advantage: they are easy to open by hand. This eliminates the risk of injury from using sharp tools during unpacking at the point of sale.
